Thanks to all who showed up at this past weekend's meeting at Hacks Point Firehall Saturday. I hope you did find it very helpful and informative.
A few came up to me after the meeting about donating a raffle for the picnic. Can anybody that is donating or thinking about donating a raffle prize for the picnic, please let me know. Sporting event tickets or sports memorabilia a bonus, but anything new and nice certainly will do (at least $50 value )
Our boat club beach clean-up is Saturday, May 9. That Saturday at 10am is the first Civic Association Meeting, and we want to make sure we don't affect that. We will start the clean-up at 11am. That way you can attend both! Please bring your gloves, rakes, trash cans etc. Rain date is Sunday May 10 at 10am.
Lastly, after two seasons of exemplary work, Ed Groce has decided to resign. He did a fantastic job of getting things done, and saved the boat club significant funds with his creative problem-solving initiatives. If anybody is interested about discussing this more to see if you want to volunteer for this post, please contact Darrin or myself.
Remember to be nice to our volunteer Executive Committee members. Negative actions/comments to these will be addressed to determine next actions per the new policy in place.
Thanks
Gerry

Please be sure to notify club secretary, Dawn Fluman, of any address, phone number or email address changes ASAP in order to help with club communication to all of our members. We are trying to notify members via email of all communications to help reduce costs like paper, ink, envelopes and postage.
We will continue to send communication via USPS to those preferring that method. But either way, we need current updated information on all our members so be sure to notify Dawn of any changes via email
